How to use spell powders by Athena W. I have had so many people ask me about our spell powders and how they can be used that I have decided to write a short article about their many uses J Hoodoo spell powders are very affective, and have many many uses. They are the physical component that is needed in spellwork to manifest your results on this plane of existence. Spell powders can be used with candle spells, by sprinkling them around the house, or on something the target person will touch, eaten (in some cases), put in massage oil, sprinkled on a talisman etc. I have found that physical contact with the target it best with spell powders, however it is not completely necessary. I have had a number of successes using spell powders in candle spells where the target was not close at all. In the case of my compel powder, I have yet to see it not work! I will cover candle spells first, since they are very straightforward and quite easy to do. To perform a compel candle spell for example (the same instructions are use for any of our powders) one simply makes out a name paper for the target to place under the candle. This can be yourself or someone else; using their full legal name is best, however partial names, nicknames and online nicks can also work in a pinch, just not as well. Next, the candle is heated with a lighter and quickly rolled in the spell powder, so that the powder sticks to the candle. Be sure to do this on a hard flat surface, and put a lot of pressure on the candle when rolling. At first your candles will come out quite blotchy, but this does not diminish the spell affect at all. With some practice your candles will come out nicely and evenly coated. Next you can carefully carve into your candle the name of the person that the spell is for (if you wish, as well as having a namepaper) as well as the intent of the spell. This step is not absolutely necessary, but it is how I do it, and I find it works well. Then place the namepaper under the candle holder, and put the candle in the holder. Light the candle, and while doing so, state your spell intent. Some examples of this are "I light this candle and work this spell to have Mrs. Flispif hire me for my expected salary" or "As this candle burns, so shall Brett Salepais return my damage deposit". Well you get the idea. To use spell powders sprinkled around where you will be or walk is also very affective. Fast luck powder for example can be sprinkled where you, or your target will walk. This will bring more luck into your life since you are coming into contact with it. You can also sprinkle some in your shoes, or the shoes of another person to have luck with you. The uses are endless, sprinkle some in your wallet, some where you sit at work etc. etc. If you are using something such as compel powder to influence another, it can be sprinkled on a letter that is sent to them, or on your resume when you are job hunting. As you sprinkle the powder, be sure to state your intent. Nightshademagic.com fast luck powder can also be used by consuming it. Do not use any other company's fast luck powder in this way, as most are artificial ingredients and are very likely to cause harm. Also each person has a slightly different recipe, so I do not know what goes into theirs. Ours in particular is safe to consume in small quantities, however our other products usually are not, as some herbs are poisonous. To use fast luck powder in this way I recommend fast luck shortbread! Basically, you use your regular shortbread recipe, but leave out 1/3 cup of the flour, and add 2 small tins of our fast luck powder with the dry ingredients. These fast luck shortbreads make excellent gifts as well! Our hoodoo spell powders can also be used to enhance talismans that you have made, or are charging. You just simply sprinkle the corresponding powder right onto the talisman and leave it there; if you are wearing the talisman, just sprinkle it on and leave it overnight, then allow it to fall off or stay on naturally as you wear it. Another use, is to rub the powder on your hands, fast luck powder to bring you luck, compel powder, so that you can shake someone's hand and state your request, etc. I of course have to include a few success stories that have occurred with the powders…. I was looking for an apartment, it was the end of the day and I was tired, I finally found a 2 bedroom place for only $30 more p/m then the one bedroom apartments in the area. I filled out the app and went home. I had asked the name of the person who does the decision making and the name of the person who took my app. I went home and lit a compel candle for the person who does the decision making, and did another quick spell for the person who took my application. Well they called me in 2 days without even checking a single one of my references (which is good as I worked with my ex and he was angry at me). After living there a few months, I lost track and let the bathtub overflow. Apparently it ran down to the apartment below and caused damage. I was called by the owner of the building and told I would be called back with an amount of how much I owed. Well I did another compel powder candle spell, and fortunately had the owner's signature at this point to use as the namepaper. I of course never did get a call back, and everything was fine. Well as you can guess, compel powder is one of my favorites… My laptop was starting to fritz out, and I thought it was the power cord, so I went and paid $100 to buy a new one, this was at a time that I was moving, and $100 was a lot of money! I brought it home and it still had the same problem! Well I couldn't return it, since I had opened the sealed package (they heat seal them nowadays). Well I stuffed the cord back into the package and brought it back anyways. I dusted the receipt with compel powder, as well as put some on my hands. I went back to the store, and handed the woman the receipt and told her that I needed a refund. Well I got a cash refund, even though that is against their very strict policy to accept returns on opened products. A friend of mine was having financial trouble, she was a photographer professionally, had a job doing travel reviews, and was getting some government assistance but not nearly enough. I sold her some business drawing powder, and instructed her to spread it on her photos that she sold, as well as her computer, and any business related stuff, as well as on her floor. Well within less than a month, she was approved for full disability and her monthly cheque doubled, she started getting photo work, and her employer gave her a $500 bonus if she completed a certain task by a deadline, which she did! I was invited to sell products and do tarot readings at a local faire. It was a new faire, just starting up, so there was not a lot of business, but the table cost was really low. I sprinkled business drawing powder to my table. I was the only person who sold more then one item for the first 2 weeks, and made far more money then anyone else there. I sold several tins of incense to people who had never even heard of it, and did many tarot readings :) I wore my lust powder to work one day, before this not a single man at work even noticed me from what I could tell. I had forgotten I put it on actually, however, after the 4th compliment on my looks or what I was wearing that day I remembered LOL. These successes are not made up, these are things that have actually happened to me and my friends; I have several more success stories, but not ones that are so obviously the spell powders as these in particular. As you can see, these are a very simple magic, yet still very very affective!
